New Lens Day

So I've finally purchased what is known as a 'true macro' lens, A Tamron 90mm 1:1.

Something I've been wanting for quite a while. It set me back quite a bit of money, but I think I'll get plenty of use out of it.

It's the same as anything else when you get new technology, it's a case of learning the best of it.

I have took some test shots (which I'm yet to look at) but using it on the camera I'm very impressed so far. Quiet, Quick and easy to use.

This will probably completely replace my Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD 1:2 Macro over time, specially if I buy myself a tele zoom lens as well. This should give me complete scope with my range of lenses.

Hoping to bring you some Macro work soon, till then here's a sample image.
